Look in your Yellow Pages Phone Directory. Do a search on-line for your city & state for dog training. Ask at your vet's office. You can look on the AKC website--- (look under clubs & then for type of club, agility)

1. check the clean run website. It's limited and out of date (for instance, in my experience, most agility instructors don't have websites) but it's worth a try.

2. Best option is to go to and find a trial near you. Then go and ask the competitors "who does agility near me? What clubs are there? Where can I take lessons?"

3. If you post again and list a specific geographic area I might be able to dig up some specific recommendations for you.

<a href="http://answers.yahoo.com">Powered By Yahoo Answers</a>

Most areas have regional agility clubs. Do an Internet search for one and then contact them for training referrals.

Or, attend some agility events and speak with the people there. Great way to get references.

If you have a breed that's known for agility prowess, contact your local breed club to see if they know of anyone.

If it's a dog from a responsible breeder, then contact the breeder for a referral.
