Well, tell him you have to go to ‘go out’ and select ‘walk’.
Then select the dog and when you are planning the route go into the entrance of the big building (the gym) and then go back to the house.

You may not have enough stamina. So if this is the case, go on walks as often as possible to gain stamina.
